For Big Game Hunters Looking for a True Wyoming Experience!
Jackson Hole is home to some of the finest big game hunting
on earth, where hunters have the opportunity to pursue animals in their
natural habitat. Our experienced and fully-licensed guides will lead you
and your party in search of cow elk, bull elk, moose, sheep, mule deer,
antelope, and bear. See our hunting rates page
for season and pricing information.
Our camp is located along the Wyoming/Idaho border approximately 18 miles
west of Jackson Hole. We are at the south end of the Grand Teton Mountain
Range within Bridger Teton National Forest. Our camp is accessible by
4-wheel drive, another advantage. If we are not finding game readily available,
we can load hunters and horses up and drive to a different hunting location
within a short period of time.
Considerations
The outfit is very well set up with some of the best equipment, tack and
horses readily available. For comfort, you'll sleep in spacious wall tents
equipped with wood stoves, cots, pads & covered floors. You'll be served
hearty meals inside our comfortable dining tent.
We furnish airport pickup & return, guides, cook, meals, horses, rifle
scabbards, saddle bags & tack. We will see that your game gets to the
processing plant & airport when needed.
You furnish hunting license and $11.00 conservation stamp and a $11.00 Special Managment Permit for elk hunters, sleeping
bag, rifle, ammunition, binoculars, fluorescent orange cap, or hat cover,
meat processing, taxidermy and shipping, transportation or air fare to
and from Jackson.
Some further suggestions are sunglasses, flashlight, camera, any personal
medications, wool or insulated shirts & pants, heavy & light coat, warm
waterproof hiking/riding boots with some ankle support, wool socks, gloves
or mittens, thermal underwear and rain gear.
We do six-day hunts with a maximum of eight hunters in camp at one time.
We furnish 1 guide per every 2 hunters. Operating this way helps to ensure
a higher success rate and allows larger parties to book the entire camp.
We have not found that any certain week is better than another; each has
its own advantage. The actual rutting season for elk runs from opening
in early September usually through the first part of October. Idaho hunting
opens in mid-October pushing the game back over to us for a mid season
boost. Exact season dates are not set until May of each year.
Information booklets with applications can be obtained by calling
Wyoming Game & Fish at (307) 777 4600 and requesting one to be sent to
you. Once you are on their mailing list you should receive one each
year. They come out sometime in December each year.
Application Dates
You must submit elk applications between January 1 and January 31 with
the computer random draw done around the 26th of February. Deer and Antelope
applications must be submitted between January 1 and March 15. Moose and
Sheep applications must be submitted between January 1 and February 28.

pricing information.
