Trophy Policies

  • Sheep & Moose: Hunting a trophy is expected.
  • Elk & Deer: Pass up on an honorable bull or buck and we reserve the right to add a $500 trophy fee.
  •  (private guide included in price)
  • Other combinations available.
  • Prices do not include game application fees.

Application Dates

You must submit elk applications between January 1 and January 31 with the computer random draw done around the 26th of February. Deer and Antelope applications must be submitted between January 1 and March 15. Moose and Sheep applications must be submitted between January 1 and February 28. Hidden Basin Policies

All hunts, excluding antelope, require a $600 deposit at the time of booking and are only refundable should you not draw a license. Antelope hunts require a $300 deposit with the same policy. We accept credit cards, personal checks, cash and money orders. Book flights to arrive in Jackson by 2:00pm. the day before your hunt begins. Balance of the hunt is due in full upon arrival. Refunds provided if death occurs or you do not draw a license.

 We highly recommend insurance (both trip & equipment), as we accept no responsibility for loss or damage of personal gear. We are in good standing with Wyoming Game & Fish Dept, BLM and US Forest Service. Hidden Basin Outfitters operates under USDA Permit in the Bridger Teton and Targhee National Forests, all equal opportunity providers.

Application Info & Dates

Information booklets with applications can be obtained by calling Wyoming Game & Fish at 307-777-4600 and requesting one to be sent to you. Once you are on their mailing list you should receive one each year.
